 About Creeks to Peaks

We must go beyond textbooks, go out into the bypaths and untrodden depths of the wilderness and travel and explore and tell the world the glories of our journey.

John Hope Franklin

Creeks to Peaks is a guide to different parts of British Columbia as told through my personal experience.  Since I moved here well over a decade ago it has driven me to an obsession with exploring all it has to offer. I spend as much of my time as possible cycling, hiking and paddling around this unique landscape .

No one should be able to enter a wilderness by mechanical means.

Garrett Hardin

This has truly changed me in many beneficial ways. Everyone can benefit from the beauy and solitude of nature. A place without influence or distraction where we are able to think openly and clearly. I've become healthier, smarter and more confident all by just truly enjoying myself.

You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.

Alan Alda

I share my stories in hopes that more people will see nature as I do and benefit from all it has to offer. The more people that find this passion with the outdoors, the more likely we are to preserve it.

Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit.

Edward Abbey
